This month’s cuisine will focus on Eastern and Northern Europe. Pick a recipe from one of our displayed cookbooks, register your dish, and attend this very special potluck dinner with friends and neighbors here at the library. First timers always welcome. If you like to eat you’ll love this group. Tuesday, August 20th from 6:30-7:30 P.M.

Cookbook Club’s Potluck Dinner – Tues. 20th @ 6:30pm
New cooks are always welcome and you don’t have to be a chef. This month’s theme is the cuisine of Northern and Eastern Europe: Poland, Russia, Scandanavia, Germany, etc. Some yummy dishes are already planned so come in and pick a recipe from our display cookbooks. If Grandma’s recipe is your choice, that is even better. This is always a fun evening and a great way to make new friends.

Come for a chance to see one of our new movies : “A Dog’s Journey” outdoors on the lawn. – Inside if raining of course 🙂
It’s TIE-DYE !! Teen time DIY Friday 23rd @ 4:30 or Family 24th @10
Friday teens learn how to tie-dye. Bring something white: Socks, T -shirt. Make an awesome art statement on your own. Then Saturday is tie-dyeing for the family; Teens can always come back. Just bring your project, and get ready for fun.
Our dedicated Euchre players always welcome new faces. Join us for cards and laughs Thursday evening Aug. 22nd @ 6:30 or Saturday morning Aug. 24th at 10.
Come to the second annual Read with the Blue Storytime on the 7th at 10:00 A.M. Hear a story from a local Police Officer, and then share craft and snack time with friends.
Our Euchre Club meets on the 8th at 6:30 P.M.
We also have another Cookbook Junior Dinner on the 9th at 5:00 P.M.! Kids can come pick a recipe from our special cookbooks, make a dish at home, and bring it into the library for a potluck dinner with their friends and families!
